Some people worry about getting ready for the next NDIS review. There is no right or wrong way to go about it.
You might like to ask therapists to provide you with their reports around the 9 month mark for a one year plan. That way, it gets the ball rolling early so that there is plenty of time rather than rushing around in the last few weeks. Once you get those reports, you will be able to think about their recommendations and if you agree to them. If you have a support coordinator, they will assist and write a report as well.
One of the best documents I’ve seen, was a list of all the good things that had happened during the year. Sometimes, those small changes can be forgotten or taken for granted but when you look back, you think, wow!
Each year is a new year in many ways however each person’s path is unique. For some people, they may want the same goals for the next plan whereas other people may have different goals. It is your NDIS plan so do what is right for you.
